— I translate all the Messages and Mails templates and I didn’t find where where to do that translation  ?????

• Also I cannot find anywhere where to change the term “Offline Payment” that appear everywhere ?
— It’s given by the tag [PAYMENT_METHOD], but I imagine it need to be whatever the method is??

I think it is the name of the Payment method. Try changing that and see what you get in the invoice

I check over and over the messages and emails for nothing!

The following message that appear on the OFFLINE WEBSITE MESSAGE  after an offline payment come from the language files
ESHOP_ORDER_COMPLETED_DESC="<p>Votre commande #%s a bien été enregistrée!</p> <p>Merci, vous allez recevoir un mail !</p> <p><br />Si vous payez par chèque voici les informations nécessaires: </p> <p>BIKES-FRANCE</p> <p>Chez Monsieur Olivier MARTY</p> <p>12 Allée des Aubepines</p> <p>77270 Villeparisis </p> <p> et à l'ordre de : Bikes France</p>"

Now what I want:
— is to put my own information in there and style the invoice table
I do not want to have to use the languages files to put that important offline information (it make no sens to put that there)

“Offline Payment” is not in the translation strings in the backend. My website is bilingual french/english. “Offline Payment” mean nothing in French

Because I didn’t have an answer to my problem here ????
I finally have to use the painful Translation  Method to enter the proper information for offline payments in there when this should be done logically in the Eshop “Messages” function.

STILL 2 PROBLEM TO SOLVE!

1.  The following is my offline payment infos (edited).

I need to know how to put a functional email link in, didn’t work well.
<a href="mailto:payment@mysite.com">payment@mysite.com  appear as  —> payment@mysite.com>payment@mysite.com on the page ??????

Code:
<p>Your order #%s has been registered!<br /><strong>Thank you, you will receive a confirmation email!</strong></p><br /><p><strong>For offline payment, please proceed to payment via Interac email transfer.</strong> <br />This money transfer method is <strong>secure and accepted by all major Canadian banks</strong>. <br /><br />Once we have received the funds, your financial institution will send you a receipt and we will send you a payment receipt by email and your invoice will be marked as paid.<br /><br /><strong>METHOD:</strong><br /><em>Bank transfer by email is done from your bank account on the website of your banking institution.</em><br /><strong>In your online account:</strong> choose “<strong>Interac Transfer</strong> or <strong>Interac e-Transfer</strong>”<br />- <strong>Name of recipient:</strong> write — Business Name<br />- <strong>Use email address:</strong > <a href="mailto:payment@mysite.com">payment@mysite.com</a><br />- <strong>Security question:</strong> put your <strong>EXACT invoice number </strong>, without addition.<br />-<strong> The answer to the security question must be in lower case without spaces:</strong> ouranswer <br /><br /></p>

2.  Also still no answers for translating the words “Offline Payment” ?????

Hello Patrick,

1. You should use: href="mailto: payment@mysite.com"
2. You should go to edit Offline Payment plugin to change the title from Offline to ESHOP_OFFLINE_PAYMENT. After that, go to EShop -> System -> Translation to add the translation for ESHOP_OFFLINE_PAYMENT.

I hope this is useful.

Sincerely, Giang

1. You should use: href="mailto: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."

href="mailto: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." doesnt work with Regular Lab email cloaking.

Joomla 3 email cloaking work, but Joomla 3 email cloacking is not safe as it cloak only Joomla contents/articles.....

Joomla 4 is fixing the problem as it cloak ALL emails in content/modules & components
PROBLEM SOLVED!

2. You should go to edit Offline Payment plugin to change the title from Offline to ESHOP_OFFLINE_PAYMENT. After that, go to EShop -> System -> Translation to add the translation for ESHOP_OFFLINE_PAYMENT.

Work perfectly, THANKS!
Note:  hopefully you fix your problem of escape characters diseapearing from ini files when using your backend “Translation tools”
PROBLEM SOLVED!
