a 'spit' is a rod upon which savory food was roasted, turned in ancient times by a worker called a 'jack', a middle English word for an ordinary laborer (eg jack of all trades, steeplejack, lumberjack). Today, this job is usually referred to as a 'pitmaster'.

I don;t want to be using pages on a three product store - we'd like to show a product in a module with an 'add to cart' button. No product page is needed. I'm not seeing a way to do this.
Edit: I have followed the 'enable shopping cart mode' instructions in the documentation

I had 'add to cart' only showing on logged in account so I have this straightened out - or I will soon.
