Add a hidden honeypot field?

On of my clients was asking about adding a honeypot field to their checkout.
Is it possible to have a hidden field in the checkout, so that it would not be seen by a human, but would be filled out by a bot?
And then, would it be possible to set up a validation rule that stated that if that field had something in it then the order could not be processed?

Thank you for submitting the question here. Sound like this is an outstanding feature. EShop supports the visible custom fields for checkout but it does not support the hidden field as you asked.
