The General Configuration page that contains entries for Shop Information has an option to display the shop information on the Front Page. This is not displaying, instead only the Category List is displayed. Do I have something else configured incorrectly?
You should choose to display it on the Front page or categories page. Please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration -> General tab, at "Display Introduction on", choose Front Page instead of Categories Page.
