Stock=0 Label set to "SOLD" was created by Graham S. Jarvis
Hello everybody,

I hope that everybody is keeping safe and well!

I'm looking at using EShop for an artist's website.

Is there a way of displaying a label "SOLD" in any of the allowed positions when the stock level goes to zero (ie when it's sold ;) )
- The artist wants to have the image displayed even after an original (unique) painting is sold.

Thanks,
-Graham-

You can achieve this by setting the stock availability / out of stock message to SOLD

Thank you Stuart for taking the time to answer.

It sounds like this is a good (initial) solution.
- I'd still like a graphical "Sold" placed over the image, to avoid confusion.
I'll have to look into this when I get the site running.

I understand or course that, if stock levels are zero and eshop is configured not to allow people to purchase items that are not in stock, there is no possibility for the sale of an item already sold.

Thanks again,
-Graham-

Hi Graham

You might check LABELS
Define a label = Sold" and maintain the attribute "Auto assign for out of stock products"

Have a nice day

Dear all,

Thank you Stuart Clark and Remedium Pro for suggesting.

@Graham S. Jarvis: The way that Remedium Pro suggested should work exactly as you want.

Sincerely, Giang

I would like to add another question to this issue:
When the stock is zero, it works perfectly showing the label.
But, is it also possible, when stock is zero, to disable the "Ask Question" button?

Regards, Peter
