Auto-assign out of stock label to specific category

I wondered if it were possible to auto-assign labels for out of stock products to specific categories of products? That way, one could have a different label for different categories, for example, one may want to allow stock check out for one category and not another, and the labels could reflect being Out of Stock or Pre-Order as the case may be, without having to list individual products per label each time.

At the moment if I assign a specific category and select the auto-assign, it assigns the label to all the categories globally.

Hello Alison,

Currently, we only support to assign Out of Stock label to all of out of products automatically. There is no option to assign it to a specific category.
