Grid Layout for Categories View

I'd like to be able to apply the GRID Layout to the Categories view rather than the LIST layout. (Like we're able to do in a single category view). This is to keep the pages more compact, show less info, and allow more items per page.

If this is already an option, I apologize. And if it can be achieved using an override, if you could point me in the right direction, I'd be appreciative.

You can see how I set up a Single Category Page using your GRID option in the attached screencap.

In the Categories PRODUCT LIST page, I'd like to be able to use the GRID there as well. THe Options for that menu only offer the choice of Categories to include and the number of items to display, no option for layout.
