Captcha (invisible) not working sometimes was created by SRN
Hi,
in the past weeks i am facing following issue on my site. (Joomla! 3.9.15 + Event Booking version 3.11.0)
Customers trying to registering for an event cannot register as the registration fails already in the registration form.Even if they try several times.
A very few customers were able to expalin better what's happening to them. So I found out after some time that they get the erroro message "Invalid verification code entered" (i.e. EB_INVALID_CAPTCHA_ENTERED )
Obviously there is an issue comming with the Google Captcha.
Unfortunately, the error is almost impossible to reproduce on command.
It seem's that it comes more frequently with Microsoft Edge and more or less never with Google Chrome.
On our site we are using "invisible captcha".
Interestingly, the same captcha is used for the contact forms and the contact messages work perfectly (we set invisible captcha as standard in the joomla core settings).
So, it might not be a problem with the Joomla core and not with the google invisible captcha itself.
Anyhow...
As a first emergency reaction I step back to normal captcha (v2) so that customers actively need to set the "i am not a robot" and search the traffic lights in the photos
Now i observe if the customers still complain...
If anybody is facing the same problems please get together here with the joomdonation team.
