Templates and Child Templates

Hi,

We need to add some more information on one of the pages..

We currently have implemented the Authorize.net payment module, and when we test it.. when there is an error.. It takes us to a blank page, stating the error.. but no button to go back to the transaction to fix the error.

we would like to at least create a button to go back to the checkout page.

We would like to create edits to a child template so that we are not overwriting the main files.. is this possible?

I've also noticed that even when an error occurred, it created an order on our backend.. not sure if thats the best practice there. Can anyone speak more about this?

Sound like this is an outstanding issue. What's version of EShop and which payment method (Authorize.net or Authronize.net SIM) that you are using on your site?
