Duplicate content, canonical and SEO was created by Matj
Noticed that Eshop not using canonical url.
As you can see....if product is in two categories. Say
top category1 and subcategory2
url for product can be
/category1/product
/category1/subcategory2/product
For SEO, this is not ok.

Hello Matj,
EShop does not use canoncial url because we have Main category for each product. So with each product we only have one link based on main category.
Sincerely, Giang

Well i guess this still is an issue.
My client has 101 products and the sitemap shows 391 URL's So definitly dupplicate content.
How do i fix this? Is there any option? Or should i use a plug-in to add the rel="canonical" tag ?

Perhaps a good solution is to disable "Add category path" Now all products appear only once in the sitemap. While browsing thorugh the site just works.
Is this how to fix the duplicates? Or is there a better solution?
Update: no it's not for my website.
