Make Subsequent Quantities A Different Price? was created by Francois Gore
Dunno if this is currently do-able in EShop. I'm trying to make it so that when people buy multiple quantities of a single product, all the subsequent items are cheaper (but the rest is still the original price).
For example, if someone buys one postcard, it's $3, but if they buy 2 or more, then the first one is $3 and all the others are $2 each. So if they buy 5 postcards, then the total would $11). This is a neat way for me to accommodate shipping and handling costs while making it seem like shipping is free, and it allows me to have the same prices locally as I do online.
I haven't been able to figure out how to do this. The closest I've found is the Discount tab in the product details, but it applies the discount to the entire quantity and not just the ones that are beyond the quantity threshold for the discount. Ideally, just a checkmark that states "apply discount only to items above discount quantity" would be perfect if there isn't already a way to do this.

I don't think this can be done with the Eshop right now.
At least not with any settings change.

Any chance it can be added as a feature in the near future?
Or do I need to make a feature request for that?

I pointed out in my original post that the Product Discount option is not adequate for my purpose the way it's currently implemented and I explained why that is.

Hello Francois,
Then I think the feature that you want to have is not supported by our extension now.
