eWay TLS Structure was created by Jacquie
Hi I have received notification from eWay that they are changing their TLS structure to TLS1.2 protocol. TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 will not longer be supported. Can you please advise if EShop's eWay payments will be affected.
TLS 1.2 is due to go live on the 28th August.

Hi Jacquie,

I need to re-check this. Do you have the link on Eway that show that to me?

Sincerely, Giang

Hi Giang,
Here is a capture of the email sent to me

TLS Structure changes to take effect August 28th
As previously advised, eWAY will shortly be making changes to our TLS infrastructure. All older versions of TLS (Transport Layer Security) will be disabled from connecting to our payment systems and MYeWAY portals. This change will go live on August 28th.
Payments will NOT be processed for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1
If your website is not using TLS 1.2 after we have disabled older versions of the protocol, your payments will not be processed.
Be Prepared: URGENT ACTION REQUIRED
If you have not already, please ensure your system uses the TLS 1.2 protocol. If you’re still unsure, we advise you to speak with your website developer or hosting provider urgently to prepare your systems for this coming change.
Our Sandbox (test) environment is set to only accept TLS 1.2 connections providing you with the ability to test your systems ahead of the changes to the production environment. We’ve provided details on how to test against Sandbox here.

Hello Jacquie,

Thank you for that. I am working to update Eway to TLS 1.2 now. It will be ready in the next version 2.6.2 of EShop in next few days.

Sincerely, Giang

Hello Gilbert,

We also made the fix to authorize.net gateway to have it support TLS 1.2 but have still not included it into the package because Authorize.net requires it by December 2017.

We will include in the next version of EShop.

Sincerely, Giang
