I submitted this email to your service email address yesterday. I mentioned the website name in the email, and added a printscreen. It needs to stay private.

They used Virtuemart and different codings to so this website a few years ago. The client now wants to upgrade the website to the newest Joomla version & with new extensions.
I suggested EShop instead of Virtuemart, but it will need custom coding from you (see the blue text below). Please give me a quote for each custom coding & time-frame you will need for it. (PS Also your payment terms)
I really hope you will be able to do this – I trust your company & know that your work is thorough. Also worked with you before where you custom coded a popup for me – quick response; exceptional work & affordable price (we are in South Africa, so the USD & ZAR exchange rate is horrible)
Summary of Desktop Website:
Level 1: Homepage will show a carousel of all the product categories. (I know that you do not have one so found this one on the internet – MagicScroll…)
Level 2: Once someone clicks on one of the categories, it will open another carousel with all the products in that category.
Level 3: If you click on one of the products it will open the PRODUCT PAGE.
On the PRODUCT PAGE the following should show:
• Product Title – already in EShop
• Image 1 (with Zoom capabilities) – already in EShop
• Image 2 (no zoom), but must appear next to Image 1 (I presume this is standard layout modifications)
• Description – already in EShop
• Links
o Enquire about product
The enquiry should generate a reference number & an email with the reference number & the product’s image should be send to both administration & the enquirer.
Here’s where it gets tricky: They want each enquiry to be logged into the backend. Administration will then view the enquiries (backend) & select a technician to handle the enquiry.
When the technician logs into the website, he/she should see all the enquiries that have been allocated to them. They should then be able to reply to the enquirer with a comment. Once an email has been send, there should be an option to state that the email has been answered & emailed.

PS Will it be possible for technicians to view this on the front of the website after logging in, instead of the backend?
They also want an ENQUIRY menu link, which follows the same setup as above, BUT there is no product image attached.

They want the PDF to be compressed to one page (for long product descriptions & images) instead of having the product images & text appear over 2+ pages.
Is this possible?

Can we add a video (which will be streamed from their own website) for each product. How can this be viewed? Is it possible to view it in a popup?

Summary of Mobile Website:
If the website is viewed on a mobile phone, it will show another template with only the following:
• Logo
• Random Image
• ESHOP AJAX SEARCH MODULE (Text above search module: what product do you want to package?)
The search will work as your current search module works, BUT instead of showing the recults of products containing the words, they want the SEARCH to ONLY SHOW THE CATEGORIES (E.g. If someone searches for “sauce”, then all the categories that has products that can package “sauce” should show… RESULTS will then be LIQUID PACKAGING & SACHET PACKAGING)
When the enquirer then clicks on one of the categories (e.g. LIQUID PACKAGING) it should show all the products under that category – thumbnail image with title… But EShop already shows the results as an image & title, so the only custom code needed, is the RESULTS to only show the CATEGORIES
They want to use TAWK.TO again on both sites, so I just want to also make sure that this does not clash with your component
Please let me know if you will be able to do this, as well as the cost & time so that I can inform the client – he still needs a quote of how much it will all cost him (before he approves anything). He really hope you can do this, as I don’t like Virtuemart at all & I know that someone reliable (JoomDonation) is always available if they need more work on the website products.
