Categories don't work

I posted to the wrong section before. I am new to EShop and am trying to set up the categories. When I make a NEW category, it does not appear in the list of categories. Am I making a simple beginners mistake? The Tech guy removed and re uploaded the program just now and it still is not showing any categories.

That is the mistake from you. I have already supported you via ticket system.

The reason because you didn't choose a default language for your site before. I just chose English as Default language for your site and tried to create a Test Category, it is showing up now.

Please try to create Categories by your self now, then you will see them.
