Integrate with Joomla registration

Hi,
We have found that when users register with Joomla before registering with Eshop, then the email address they registered with is not transferred to Eshop and has to be re-entered with their billing details during checkout.
Can this be automatically synchronised so Eshop uses the details from Joomla registration if available?

This way they will give the account details and address at the same time.

It would be nice if the users could register only through the Eshop (and not Joomla) and before the checkout using a separate page, because during the registration process of the Eshop they could assign themselves to other customer groups except the default and they could see different prices for the products before they go to the checkout page.

Any update on this. I need exactly this - customer can complete eShop registration BEFORE checkout, so they can choose an eShop group, and see relevant pricing / content
