I have downloadable products in my eShop. with checkout going to the default PayPal plugin. When a customer makes a purchase the order is processed by Paypal and the customer receives the receipt from PayPal, but the customer is not receiving the email from my eShop that contains the link to the Download page for the customer to download the file.
If the download product is free and the sales does not go through PayPal. then the correct download email is sent from eShop.
Why is this happening?
Sound like the issue because your site prevent the call back URL from PayPal or You disable the PayPal IPN call back from your PayPal account. Please log-in to your PayPal account and enable PayPal IPN, then test again.
