Frontpage as in demo? was created by Sander
Hi, I just bought the eshop plugin and I'm figuring it out now. I bought it because the demo looked good. I would like to have the category list on the left side of the frontpage, and maybe remove the big category tiles in the middle. How can I do this?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using the Purity 3 template for the website.

Hi again Sander,
1. If you want to have the list of categories on the left hand side, then you should use EShop Category module and load it into the position of left had side of the Purity 3 template.
2. You can create the menu items to different page of EShop to display categories, products. Example Front Page. Please read the documentation here: eshopdocs.joomservices.com/getting-start...front-end/front-page
Hope that my answers are useful.
Sincerely, Giang

Thank you. I'm fairly new to joomla, so please bear with me. Could you please explain a little more about answer number 1? Where should I start?
2. I found that. I like the idea of having a frontpage, and the frontpage of the demo seemed fine to me, I just need to find out how to configure it a little i guess. I thought it would all be there and I only would have had to strip the items I don't need.

Hello Sander,
If you are a Joomla user, you should know about how to edit and publish a module on the front-end side. Please go to Extensions -> Modules, then filter by EShop Category module to edit, publish it and choose a position in your template to put it.
Hope that this is useful.
Sincerely, Giang

Thanks! I just needed a nudge in the right direction. It worked, but now my page jumps when I go to the eshop. Do you know what happens here when you click on "webshop"?

Your page jumps? Can you please take a screenshot to show me the issue?
P/S: what you did is great, you put the module and eshop front page on the front-end side successfully

Thank you for your patience. As you can see in the screenshots the upper menu bar gets bigger when I go to the webshop.

OK Sander!
I think it is a small CSS conflict with the template. Please go to our support ticket system at joomdonation.com/support-tickets.html to submit a new ticket to EShop category and send me the your site information there, our support staff will help you to check and resolve the issue.
