Cannot save a new category was created by Leon Treff
Hello,
I purchased eShop 2.0.2 yesterday and installed it on Joomla 3.5.1.
Installation was ok.
But when I want to save a newly created category, I get the message "Please enter name", but I put a value to the compulsory name field.
Same behavior when I tried to create a new product.
Meanwhile I found out that this is related to the content languages installed.
I have 3 content languages published (German, French and English).
Only when I unpublish the 2 content languages German and French, I am able to save newly created categories.
Please investigate this and tell me what to do in order to work with all content languages published?
Sincerely,
Léon

Hi Léon,
It looks like you have a multilangual shop, right?
In that case you have to fill out all the languages when creating a category or a product, see the screenshot.
My customer has a webshop in 4 languages and I have to fill out all languages at once when creating categories or products.
Otherwise it is not possible to save the category or product.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Burt

Hello,
yes, that was my trouble.
I got the same answer from the support to my ticket. I misunderstood the feature. Now, it "works as designed".
Thank you very much for your reply.
Sincerely,
Léon
