Single Eshop component, multiple languages was created by P.Petersen
Hello,
I am about to setup an European webshop, with a single domain and multiple subdomains per country.
The CMS is Joomla. Domains will look like:
webshop.com, redirected to:
uk.webshop.com
fr.webshop.com
es.webshop.com
Etc.
I found a component (MightySites) that makes is possible to manage multiple (sub)domains with a single Joomla installation and a single Eshop component.
All the products I am about to sell are the same for all countries, I only need to setup pages and menus (templates) in different languages. The text and menus, I can easily translate, but my challenge is how to translate the Eshop data.
I know I can install different languages, or translate myself.
But I need multiple languages, within a single Eshop installation.
Is there a way I can assign a language to an article, template, menu or subdomain?
Or, do people have a solution how I might solve this problem?
Obviously, I can install multiple Joomla and Eshop installations, but this is not ideal in terms of maintenance.
When I add a product to Eshop, ideally it should become available for all subdomains.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Peter
