Stock options was created by Davide
I have a problem to understand the correct use of stock options in configuration. I set:
Display Stock NO
Show Out Of Stock Warning NO
Stock Checkout NO
When I add to cart a product in stock (quantity > 0) I see the warning (Products marked with *** are not available in the desired quantity or not in stock!) and beside the title *** is present. But the product is in stock, why appairs the warnig and is impossibile to chekout. What's wrong in my configuration? I want that customers can't add a product out of stock to the cart but can add products in stock, how should I set eshop?

I think what your settings are showing is:
1. Dont tell the customer how much stock there is
2. Dont give them a warning when there is no stock
3. Dont allow them to check out if there is no stock
In Product configuration you need to have at least 1 item in stock. If this is 0 then the customer cant order it.
Also look in System / Configuration / Option because you can also hide Out of Stock Items.

Thanks Mick. But if I add a product always appears the warning and is impossible to checkout, even when the product is in stock. Following your explanation and my configuration it's should be possible checkout if in the cart there are only in stock products

Hi Davide,
If you see the warning, then I am sure that product is out of stock. A product is out of stock if main quantity <= 0 or the quantity of option values <= 0
Sincerely, Giang
