Change from 4 products per line

The default layout in grid is 4 products per line - at least that's what it defaults to for me. Is it possible to increase or decrease this number?

System > Configuration > Option > Default Items Per Row

Nope that's not it. I have that set at 3 currently and it only affects the 1st tier of images (main set of categories). It affects this page - www.ckdev.info/sheriff/products - but doesn't affect subsequent sub-pages such as this one - www.ckdev.info/sheriff/products/eyes .

You'll not the first page has 3 wide, but the 2nd has 4 wide so they obviously get their settings from different places.

Is possible that you have insert value for single category? Catalog > Categories, edit single category, tab "Data", Products Per Row
