Make a default country

I am trying to make the United States the default country for eshop.

I want it to be automatically selected in the dropdown box.

In fact, I've even unpublished all other countries...but it still --please select-- so you have to manually hit the dropdown and select United States.

How can I change this?

Hello Shane,

Please go to EShop -> Sales -> Fields -> Choose country_id to edit it. At Default Values, you should enter 223 there. This is ID of United States. Then it should work as you expected.
