Shipping Tracking Number and Shipping Tracking URL was created by Steven J

Giang –

Thank you for your recent update of EShop! I updated EShop to the new version (1.3.6) and see the new fields for Shipping Tracking Number and Shipping Tracking URL on the customer detail page. However, even after I add a tracking number and a URL, and make sure that the Send Shipping Notification Email box is checked, the email that the customer receives does not contain the Tracking Number and Shipping Tracking URL. Attached is the email that the customer receives with this information blanck. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Steven,

Please go to EShop -> System -> Configuration, then click on Shipping Notification Email and make sure that it has following content:

Dear [CUSTOMER_NAME],

We have shipped your order #[ORDER_ID]

Track Your Package: [SHIPPING_TRACKING_NUMBER]

If the above link doesn't work (or is visible), you may copy and paste the following into your browser: [SHIPPING_TRACKING_URL]

Shipping Information

[SHIPPING_ADDRESS]

Thank you. I went to EShop -> System -> Messages and then edited the Shipping Notification Email message to add these fields and it works perfectly. Thank you.

Are only some of the fields available to be added to the the Shipping Notification Email? For example, I tried adding [SHIPPING_METHOD] (e.g., "your order was shipped via [SHIPPING_METHOD] as tracking number [SHIPPING_TRACKING_NUMBER]") and the tracking number field, but not the method field were populated in the resulting email.

Currently, [SHIPPING_METHOD] tag is not supported in Shipping Notification Email.

Does this apply to version 3.4.8. the info in the form does not have a call after track your package. This is what it has

All of my preset message pages uses #[ORDER_NUMBER], NOT [ORDER_ID]. I am assuming it was changed with the latest versions.
