Ask Question bugged

for some reason when I click Ask Question on product page the pop out appears but when I fill in form an click submit no action is taken.

If i knew the location of the script that handles this then perhaps i can just replace with newer version?

also when user clicks Ask Question nothing happens for a sec or 2 then it pops out, is it possible to show some sort of load when it is attempting the pop out?
