Products in Grid

Which file do I need to edit to change the formatting of the products in Grid format?
I would like to remove the option to switch to list and remove the product description area. Even though there is no short description, the description box is still there and makes the price appear much lower than it should. I also want to change the CSS tags because it is using the <h5> from my main joomla template and I want it to be different.

You can overwrite the following file components/com_eshop/themes/default/views/common/products.php

i'm facing the same problem
i created a menu and assigned it to manufacture
so its products appear in list view, but i need grid view to be the default
any solution ?

You should go to EShop->System->Configuration->Layout tab to choose default view is Grid instead of List. Hope that this will help.
