The Couppon must be placed and to checkout page...

Hello there, i am to use the couppon discount options for my clients... and i realised that the couppon number installation is available only at shopping cart and not at checkout page... Hope you put the couppon enter code and to the check out page so i can use it.... thanks

The checkout page only has maximum of 6 steps. If I put the coupon section there, what's steps that you want to have it to be appeared?

The final step before the finishing of the order will be just fine...

I think it is not good to put it at final step because final step will show the final information (unit price, sub-total, tax, shipping, etc). We can not put the coupon there.
I think it is good to put it at step 5. Let me think more about it.

Yes you are right, at step 5 and at the final step the customer will be able to see the discount total...
