Can't get taxes to appear was created by Tim Smith
I've searched this forum for help with setting up sales taxes, but still cannot get them to be displayed with a sale. Here are the settings that I believe relate to taxes;
Starting in the EShop Dashboard:
Configuration>Option>Taxes>Display Prices With Tax: No
System>Countries - all are Published
System>Zones - all Countries are Published
System>Zones>United States - all states are published
System>GeoZones>US Sales Name: US Sales Country: United States Zone: All Zones Published: Yes
System>Tax Classes>All Sales Tax Rate: Ca Sales Tax Base On: Store Address Priority: 1 Published: Yes
System>Tax Rates>CA Sales Tax Tax Rate: 7.625 Type: Percentage Customer Groups: Default Published: Yes
Catalog>Product>Disc Lock>Data Tax: All Sales
Catalog>Products>Small Packing Box>Data Tax: All Sales
What am I missing?

Hi again Tim,
I went to your site and checked all settings. Almost is correct but you didn't assign products to the All Sales tax class. I assigned and saved and they works well now. Can you please check and get back to me?
Hope to hear back from you soon.
Sincerely, Giang

The taxes are appearing correctly now. Thank you.
I am confused as to what I missed. As detailed in my original message, for the 2 test products I had set;
Catalog>Product>Disc Lock>Data Tax: All Sales
Catalog>Products>Small Packing Box>Data Tax: All Sales
What setting did I miss?

Hi again Tim,
Yes, you must set the tax class for product. Also, under the Options tab of Configuration section, you should choose default Customer Group of your store. This will be used to calculate tax for visitor when they have still not logged in.
Sincerely, Giang
