Shipping - please help explain

Please explain how to setup shipping methods.

i have 4 products that i have set a weight for in the product pages.

do i select that the item requires shipping?

do i put a cost in the product page for shipping? as i assume i dont as the cost is worked out by the weight shipping plugin

To enable shipping for each product, when editing product, you should choose Require Shipping is Yes.
Regarding shipping method, you have many options to setting up shipping methods for products:

1. You can enter a specific shipping cost for each product, then this shipping cost will be used by Item Shipping method. So Item Shipping method will calculate total of shipping cost of products in the cart and show to the user.

2. You can setting shipping cost based on total weight of products in the cart. I have already guided you this on another post.
