Is there a plugin that would enable a single database to be used for multiple websites?
1. Eshop membership is common across all websites.
2. Custom layout for each website is possible.
I have multiple websites related to Japan and would like to make a single eShop database available to all of them since most of the products would be suitable for all the websites.
I can think of two methods:
1. iFrames
2. Independent subdomained eShop to which a variable is passed from a participating website that indicates the customized css files to be used with that website as well as the use of a header and footer matching the "parent" domain website.
Thank you for submitting the question here. Unfornately, there is no option to only use one database of EShop for multiple sites. You can only do that if all of your sites use same Joomla database.
