tags: frontend module shows different numbers than backend was created by ChrissMa
Hi!
I use the tag system to filter subgroups of files inside a category. Now I want to remove unused tags. But I can't really know which tags are not used because:
The front end module shows the amount of files "attached" to a tag
The backend shows different numbers:
That is weird.
It's also not possible to find out which files are "attached" to tags in the backend. I need to look in the front end (using the module) and then double check in the file list. It's not possible to filter files by assigned tags in the file list.
See here:
joomdonation.com/forum/edocman-features-...r-attached-tags.html
joomdonation.com/forum/edocman-features-...-documents-list.html
These features seem bretty basic to me and I think the edocman tag system is flawed! I wish the component could just use the native Joomla! tag system. Anyway, I guess this needs to be fixed.
Thanks for your attention!
Chris

Hi Chris,
Just to clarify, do you mean that you want to be able to find all documents related to a specific tag in the backend?
Please let me know if this is what you are looking for
Thanks
Dam

Hello Dam!
Exactly! I was surprised when I realized it is not possible at the moment.
I can add tags, but I cannot filter / find documents by tag(s).
Regards!
