Category Issue was created by Stewart McMaster
My category screen is coming up blank. I imported the sample category file and it works fine except that it won't let me edit the categories. Document creation with the imported categories appears to work okay.
This is a site under development to replace an existing setup which has edocman working fine. Old site 5.4.1 PHP8.4 New site J6 PHP8.4.
Any idea what the issue may be?
Also as a side note the following error is showing up in logs. It is not unique to Edocman and is PHP related.
EDocmanHelper::getActions(): Implicitly marking parameter $state as nullable is deprecated, the explicit nullable type must be used instead
Regards
Stewart

I had a similar issue with J6. I turned on the backward compatibility plugin and it solved this issue for me.

Hi,
The issue has been temporarily fixed. The cause was the JCE Pro plugin, which is currently enabled on your site. This plugin is not compatible with Joomla 6 Native, and enabling it leads to errors.
I have disabled the plugin, and the issue has been resolved.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Dam
