PDF Indexer only able to index 1 document

Hi Gerald,
The issue has cause from database structure, you can try to enable configure option: "Convert UTF8 before saving" and try it again. If it doesn't work, please change "collation" of column "doc_content" in db table: "#__dix_docs" to "utf8mb4_unicode_ci"

Now for a dumb question... Can you point me to documentation that would let these results be used/integrated into the normal search query engine (index.php?option=com_finder&view=search), or how to provide a query page?

Hi Gerald,
To use Joomla smart search, first of all, you need to enable the plugin: plg_finder_docindexer
After that, you can access to Joomla Finder component and run indexing data of extensions.
When it is complete, you can search through data of Documents Indexer through Joomla Smart search at frontend of Joomla site.
