EDocman: can we print a picture?

Hi,

One of my clients wants to manage images, audio and video files reserved for registered members. So I thought of EDocman, but one of the requests was to be able to print a photo from the gallery, even from a smartphone. Is this possible?

Another question: can EDocman keep the addresses of Phoca Download pages after recovering data from this other extension?

PS: we need to manage Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files too.

I'm sad to see no answers to my questions.
For several years I've been used to getting them quickly...
I've given up on the idea of using EDocman on my client's site, but there's still the second question concerning the import of Phoca download data and whether or not to keep the addresses added to artices and pointing to files managed by Phoca download.

Sorry for late response. Regarding to your questions, i need you to explain this question more details
- "print a photo from the gallery, even from a smartphone", i am not sure about it.

About the question after importing data from Phoca Download. Previously, when you add the link of documents into article from Phoca Download. Now, if you migrate data to Edocman and no longer to use Phoca Download anymore, those existing links will not work. You will need to update the document links from Edocman system for instead.

As for the images, my client wanted to be able to print them without downloading them, directly from the thumbnail display page. But he abandoned the idea of using EDocman.

Thanks, Dam, but no online public example is displayed. The data are private.

The project is an archive management system for an association.
Folders containing image, PDF, audio and video files of an event are provided to the webmaster.
They then have to integrate them into their site so that registerd members of the association can view them and, if necessary, print and/or download them.

With PDF files, Edocman has feature to view/print them. But with photos or video files. I am afraid that Edocman doesn't have feature to support printing function.

Hi Robert,
on Edocman demo site, we are using Google viewer feature, it's one of 2 document viewing options in Edocman. In additional, based on web browsers, you may have option to view content of pdf files through browsers also.

I bought EDocman to replace Phoca Download on my own website. For the moment only files to be downloaded (essentially zip) are displayed.
