Manage file in edocman was created by Max
Bye. In my company we are considering purchasing the edocman component to manage the quality certificates of our products.
At the moment we are doing this, but with obvious difficulties using a competing product. It would involve creating protected areas on our site where our customers (once logged in) can access and download only the certificates of the products they have purchased. I believe this is easily possible through edocman. However, I would like to know one thing: is it possible to have the component import a table (in a special format) to link the user code of the customers to the certificates issued on a daily basis, or does this have to be done manually each time? I hope I have expressed myself clearly enough, otherwise please let me know. Thank you
Massimiliano

Hi Max,
In Edocman, you can setup protected areas (categories) and only allow users in specific groups can access to documents of those categories (and download them)
Thanks
