Download Limit reset

A quick question about
"Reset Downloaded times everyday, select Yes to reset the Limit download everyday."
does it reset daily i.e. after midnight or is it 24 hours since the last download ?

So if a subscriber in a group limited to 1 download (with the limit reset Everyday) downloads a file at 23.25 then their limit will be reset after 24.00 ? If so it no longer seems to be resetting, I'll test it again tonight to make sure.
Would it make any difference if the restriction is set to IP address as well as email address?

Tried another test
downloaded a file at 05-31-2024 12:16:02, tried to download another file at 06-01-2024 01:41:52 and go this message
"This document can not be downloaded because you have reached the allowed amount of downloads"
so looks like it's not reseting the limit, any suggestions as to why ?

Make sure your Joomla timezone is the same with your current timezone first.
