Edocman not fully restored after backup reset

I encountered a serious problem in Edocman and decided to restore the whole website via an Akeeba backup.
Having done this, it seems that Edocman is only partly restored and that Document path in the Configuration is not restored on the server but still holds the problem area information.
Your support is highly appreciated.

I am not sure with your idea, when you backup your site through Akeeba backup, the whole site should be backup, i don't think there are a part of component were backup.

OK, It takes some time to do the restoration of the scanned documents manually, but it is to overcome.
A very strange situation occurs while doing this.
I have introduced 3 Categories. All 3 are shown in the Documents, including the Category name. However 2 Categories I can find by searching to the name of the Category, the third Category shows no results. Searching for the common part in the document names, delivers them all. So the name of the third Category seems problematic.
