Thumbnail size

Hello,

How to adjust the thumbnail size of categories and files while resizing images proportionally to fit but still display the full image?
I tried adjusting the Category/Document Thumb Height and Width values in Media Configuration, but the thumbnails on the front page didn't change. The thumbnails are still 100x100.

When I tried uploading another image to replace the original one, the new Thumb Height and Width values I set in Media Configuration were visible on the front page. Is there a way to automatically update the thumbnail size without having to re-upload each image individually? Also,is it possible to automatically resize images proportionally based on their width only, regardless of whether they are in landscape or portrait orientation, instead of setting a fixed Thumb Height and Width value? I think it would be more flexible that way.

Currently, Edocman resizes pictures based on Configure options, it doesn't have option to resize pictures based on width size of original photos
