I created a category this morning and wanted to subordinate it to another category. In doing so,

In doing so, I inadvertently put them in the same category (surely this should not be possible).

After that, the category was no longer visible, but an incredible number of identical folders developed underneath the ROOT folder. These could only be seen via FTP and deleted there with difficulty.
I think it should not be like that.

Currently, Edocman doesn't remove the folders of categories when they are deleted. Because in some cases, customers want to keep their documents in those folders. But we will consider to add new configure option to allow administrator to select to delete or keep category's folders when they are deleted

Maybe I worded it badly. Sorry for my English.

I created category "Handouts" and at Parent category then selected "Handouts". After that edocman always creates new subfolders under "Handouts" > "Handouts" >"Handouts" etc.
I think this is a bug.
