Hello,
I have the following problem in the module "Edocman Categories Tree".
I have created two categories.
"1_Public" and "2_Intranet".
If I create a module which should show me the "Edocman Categories Tree" only of the category "2_Intranet", I enter "2_Intranet" in the backend settings in the module under "Parent Category".
If I now load my page, the following error message appears.
"Unknown column '2_Intranet' in 'where clause'".
My website has just been migrated from Jommla 3 to Joomla 4 and Edocman has been new installed.
If I leave "Parent Category" blank, the Edocman Categories Tree is displayed by all categories, which is not what I want.
Attached is a screenshot of the entire error message from Joomla.
With kind regards
Gregor Czech

Hi, I have the same issue.

Could someone write in the forum how the fields "Parent Category" or "Itemid" are supposed to work in the Edocman Categories Tree module??

No info on the documentation either  :(

I need to display the category tree of a specific category into a Joomla 4 blog page. Whatever I try I get the sql error or all the categories are shown...

Hi Lorenzo,
In module parameters form, the field: Parent Category, you can enter ID of parent category (ID numbers can be found through tool: Manage Categories). At frontend, the module will list all child-categories of that parent Category
- Item ID, you can enter ID of specific menu that you want to add into the links of categories at frontend of category. You can leave this parameter empty
Thanks

Thank you!
Please update the documentation or put a tooltip in the module so that other users may understand how it works without bothering you.
