EDocman - Thumbnail Generator

Is there a tutorial on how the EDocman - Thumbnail Generator works?  I thought by enabling it it would take an image from the first page of the PDF and then enter it onto the document details, but I cannot figure it out as nothing seems to happen.
Can you help, or let me know where I can get more information?

Hi Alison,
This plugin is used to generate the thumbnail picture for pdf documents. You need to enable PHP library: ImageMagick to make it to work properly

I checked on my cPanel and ImageMagick-devel-6.9.10.68-6.el7_9.x86_64 already installed on the server and enabled as latest version.

Am I now missing something in configuration?
When I upload PDF's it just shows the 'PDF' thumbnail
