Error Message when trying to install Update to Edocman 1.24.3

Hi!

System was upgraded to Joomla 4.2.7

Trying to upgrade from Edocman 1.24.0 to 1.24.3

I did download the unzip first file to my computer. I did unzip.
Installing the file "com_edocman.zip"  I get the error message:

"Es gibt einen Fehler beim Hochladen dieser Datei auf den Server.
Es kann kein Installationspaket gefunden werden."


Can you give me advice how to install the update?

Hi Werner,
To update extension from Backend side, you should follow below steps:
1. Register a Download ID from: www.joomdonation.com/download-ids.html and enter it in Configuration page
2. Publish the Joomla Installer plugin: Edocman Update package.
After that, you will able to update extension from Backend side.
