eDocMan as client portal

Hi All, 

I'm wanting to use edocman as a portal for my clients. where they can login to joomla and only see files and resources that have been assigned to them.. I guess you can do this by assigning the registered user as the document owner. but how can I make it so when logged in the ONLY see the documents owned by them? and not all documents? I know there is the 'user documents' menu item type, but that dosent allow me to show the documents by specific categories... etc.

Hi,
As i answered you, Edocman has feature to assign documents to user(s) as owner. And when the document is assigned to specific user(s), only they can see and download the document at frontend of component.
