EDocman Limit Downloads plugin

Hi
Trying to setup  download limits, but have found that if a user is in multiple groups the the limit is also applied. i.e.
All our users are in the Registered group, if they are Paid members they are added to that group. We have set the download limit to 1 per day for Registered and want to have no limit for the Paid group the plug in applies the limit to users who are in both groups. How can we set it to avoid the lower limit being applied to the higher groups ?

Cancel the above.
We have got round it by setting Membership Pro to remove users from Registered when they subscribe to Paid and put them back when the subscription expires.
