J!4 - changing documents to other categories does not move file to new folder was created by ChrissMa
Hello!
Maybe I misunderstood the documentation, but if i change a document's category that file stays in the very same folder it was saved with the initial upload.
Shouldn't the file be moved to the new folder?
Change Document Path when changing Main Category is set to Yes
I use the most recent J!4 and EDocman versions.
Thanks
Chris

Hi Christian,
When you change the category, the document will be moved to new category's folder because the configure option: "Change Document Path when changing Main Category" is enabled.
Thanks

That is the point. It's _not_ happening. I expected the file to be moved. But it stays at the same place. Is there another setting that messes up the process?

Well, intersting.
I have to admit, while on my local installation the move does not happen, it works as expected on the online installation.
So this one is "solved". Thanks.
