Issue with PDF indexer was created by Kevin Estey
There doesn't seem to be a thread specifically for the PDF indexer plugin, so I will put this question here in hopes it can be answered. We have been using the indexer for about a year now, with no trouble. We recently cleaned up articles on the site and unpublished or archived a bunch of pages. We wanted to reindex, but it was not clear if simply reindexing the entire site would delete the old index and build a new one, or if it was necessary to first delete all the existing indexed documents. The SELCT ALL checkbox on the list does not seem to select all the documents, and with over 5000, it would take forever to select them all manually..... so the question is, do we need to delete anything at all FIRST, or do we just hit reindex - public and let it go? WIll this remove all the unpublished and archived pages from the index?
