Cannot display properly created or modified dates

Hi,
When using Edocman documents module. If I set Show Date to Show Modified Date or Show Created Date, it shows the current date even if I manually changed the created and modified dates of the document in document Manager: edit document/Publishing.
What do I do wrong? I probably do change at the right place.
