Hello,
I would like to add tags to a document when it is uploaded through the frontend page. Is it not possible?

Hi,
Please submit ticket on category: Edocman and provide your site url with super admin account. I will help you to add tags in "Document Upload" form

Another question...the search module looks for the terms on the description right? To index pdf files I need to purchase extra plugin?

Hi,
Actually, Edocman has PDF Indexer plugin, you can use it to index content of pdf files (one file per time)

Hi Mr. Dam

We are using Joomla 4.1.5 and EDocman 1.23.1.
We need to allow the user to add tags through frontend. Could you please tell us how can we do that??

this function would be very nice to be activated.

this function is present in docman and is very useful.

it is not really vital but
i am interested in this function too

You can submit ticket on category: Edocman and provide your site url with super admin account. I will help you to add Tag field in "Add document" page at frontend side.
