Overriding mod_edocman_categories?

Hi Mr Dam,

Is it possible to override the mod_edocman_categories module?

I'm trying to adjust the <li> code layout from 

and remove this .      ^|_ in my override?

I've looked in modules/mod_edocman_categories/mod_edocman_categories.php and also modules/mod_edocman_categories/tmpl/default.php and don't see where that's coming from?

Not sure why the "&nbsp" have been removed from my code so here's a screen shot to show what's getting generated-

 

And here's what I'd like to achieve so I can then style via CSS how I want.

Hi Martin,
The categories tree are generated by Joomla core function, so we can't override it
