In Edocman, we only have option to index one document per time. In case you need to index all documents in the system, you can use another add-on of us, it's Documents Indexer extension -
joomdonation.com/joomla-extensions/joomla-pdf-indexer.html
With Documents Indexer, you can index all documents in Edocman at one time, and the indexed content will be stored in Edocman database normally.
