Statistics of the view button

hello, is there any way to get statistics of the viewed files (that is, they click the View button)
Because HiT I understand that it is if they reach the detail of the document and download is if they download it but I have no way of measuring how many they saw without downloading or reaching the document details page.
Especially this would be useful for the solution that I have implemented where I cancel the download button and the view uses a youtube url for embedded videos

Currently, Edocman doesn't have option to manage number "View" of specific documents. Edocman's main purpose is to build an extension that allows users to manage documents and download them, so Edocman only stores the number of downloads of documents instead of the number of times the document was viewed.
